Croquet mallets and balls in Wales

The short answer: croquet players in Wales can order an Invictus mallet made to their handle length, and clubs can order Invictus X balls, with the delivered price confirmed before you pay and every price below in pounds.

Croquet across Wales

Welsh lawns are mild and frequently rain-softened, which suits a mallet with a little weight in the head and a forgiving face. The season follows the rest of Britain, opening in spring and finishing in the early autumn, and most of the play we have found sits in the south of the country around Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea. Our town page sets out what we know of the clubs and surfaces there.

Our mallets and balls

Welsh players usually start with the Invictus Rise (£525) for its forgiving feel on soft lawns. The lighter RF Pro (£975) suits those who want precision, and the Invictus X ball set, World Croquet Federation championship approved, costs £479.
