Throughout the development process, Robert Fletcher played a key role in shaping the ball’s design. As a world champion croquet player, Robert's understanding of the sport's technical aspects allowed us to fine-tune the Invictus X Ball to meet the needs of top-level competitors. Hundreds of test balls were produced and rigorously tested across different weather conditions and playing environments to ensure the ball performs consistently wherever they are used.

The bounce properties, feel & sound off the mallet, colors, roundness, and durability of the Invictus X Ball were crucial considerations. We designed it to be lively to roquet and rush, delivering a smooth and predictable performance with every strike. Importantly, we worked to ensure that the ball doesn’t produce an overly loud sound on impact, eliminating the concern that your mallet might break when striking it. This attention to detail resulted in a ball that feels, looks and sounds, like a championship croquet ball.
