Croquet mallets and balls in Tulsa
The short answer: Tulsa croquet players can order an Invictus mallet or a set of Invictus X balls online, and we ship to Oklahoma. For golf croquet newcomers on the LaFortune Park courts we usually suggest the Invictus Rise; six-wicket regulars chasing fine control may prefer the RF Pro.
Croquet in Tulsa
The Tulsa Croquet Club plays at LaFortune Park. When the park's tennis center expanded, the croquet courts moved north, where four new courts were built end to end, and a permanent clubhouse has been funded for the site. The 2024 Tulsa GC Classic over Labor Day weekend drew 36 players, 28 in golf croquet and 8 in American six-wicket, which locals called the biggest Tulsa field in at least a decade; players came from Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and Florida, including college teams. In 2025 the club hosted the USCA Midwest Golf Croquet Regional in May, the Indian Territory Open later that month as the first American six-wicket event on the MCA Series Tour, and the USCA Midwest Six-Wicket Regional over Labor Day. The Indian Territory Open is scheduled again for Memorial Day weekend, May 22 to 25, 2026.
What Tulsa's lawns and weather mean for your mallet
Northeast Oklahoma summers are hot and often humid, spring brings strong thunderstorms, and winters swing between mild spells and hard cold snaps. Tulsa's big events cluster on the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, when lawns can be firm and fast after dry weather or heavy after a storm. Wind is a regular companion on the Plains, so a steady, compact stroke pays.
Which Invictus mallet suits Tulsa players
Invictus Rise, US$695. Our most popular mallet uses an aluminum head of around 3 lb. With a slightly larger sweet spot, it is a little easier to control when the lawn is slow after rain. We usually recommend an 11 inch head.
RF Pro, US$1,295. We developed our flagship with World Champion Robert Fletcher. The 3D printed aluminum head houses brass weights and wears composite faces; total weight is about 2 lb 12 oz, lighter and very precise for six-wicket competitors.
Either mallet is made to order to suit your handle length, with your pick of an 11 or 12 inch head. Graphite Black is standard, or choose NRA Blue, Snow White, Rose Gold or Deep Purple for US$119. Use our fitting guide and compare the two.
Balls for Tulsa clubs
Invictus X balls carry World Croquet Federation championship approval, weigh 450 g and are made entirely in Australia; US$635 buys a set. For a club running four courts, our guide is one set of first colors and one of second colors per lawn. What WCF approval means explains the standard.
Delivery to Tulsa
Each mallet is built individually, so allow usually 4 to 8 weeks from order for delivery to Oklahoma, as an estimate. For ball sets, we confirm the delivered price before you pay.
