Croquet mallets and balls in Traralgon
The short answer: players in Traralgon and across the Latrobe Valley can order an Invictus mallet or Invictus X balls online, delivered to their door in Gippsland. For most club players here the Invictus Rise is the right start; the RF Pro suits those who chase the tournament calendar.
Croquet in Traralgon
The Traralgon Croquet Club has been going for more than a century. In 2019 it switched off the lights at Breed Street, its home for over 60 years, and moved to McNairn Road, gaining a fourth court and floodlighting. The lights now carry Wednesday night golf croquet through daylight saving, with equipment provided and beginners coached. The club plays association, golf and ricochet, and its 2026-27 programme runs tournaments in all three codes, from association level singles in November to a ricochet singles event in July. Down the highway, Morwell Croquet Club plays golf croquet on two courts at the Morwell Recreation Reserve and celebrated its 90th birthday in 2019. When the Gippsland Croquet Association hosted the Victorian Country Regional Championships, it needed the courts of both towns to stage the event.
What Traralgon's lawns and weather mean for your mallet
Gippsland is green for a reason. The valley's summers are warm rather than baking, and its winters are cool and damp, so lawns hold their moisture and play at a moderate pace for most of the season. A mallet with honest weight in the head helps on grass like this.
Which Invictus mallet suits Traralgon players
Invictus Rise, A$990. Our most popular mallet, with an aluminium head of about 3 lb. Its sweet spot is slightly larger than usual, which makes it a little easier to control in the gloom of a night session. We usually recommend the 11 inch head.
RF Pro, A$1,980. The flagship model, developed with World Champion Robert Fletcher: 3D printed aluminium, brass weights and composite faces, about 2 lb 12 oz in all. Lighter and very precise, it rewards the players entering the level singles and doubles.
We make each one to order around your handle length, with an 11 or 12 inch head. Graphite Black is standard and Rose Gold, Snow White, Deep Purple or NRA Blue cost A$130.90 more. Our fitting advice and mallet comparison will help you choose.

Questions Traralgon players ask
Can I use the same mallet for ricochet nights and association tournaments? Yes. Both models handle every code.
Is there a safety net if it doesn't feel right? Yes: add the optional 30-day satisfaction guarantee for A$99 and play with it at the club first.
Does evening dew matter? Not to the mallet. Dry the faces after play; our care page has the details.
