Croquet mallets and balls in Mandurah

The short answer: players in Mandurah and the Peel region can order an Invictus mallet shaped to their handle length, and clubs can order Invictus X ball sets, online with courier delivery. For golf croquet the precise RF Pro is a strong choice; the Invictus Rise is the easy all-rounder.

Croquet in Mandurah

Mandurah has two clubs. The Mandurah Croquet Club plays golf croquet only, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, with twilight games from 4pm in summer, and still sets its courts with traditional white hoops. Newcomers get three free sessions by appointment, with equipment and coaching supplied, and club championships run from March to November.

Halls Head Country Croquet Club sits on Sticks Boulevard in Erskine, just south of the Estuary Bridge, with around 60 members and three full-size courts, two of them floodlit. Golf croquet runs on Wednesday and Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons, ricochet on Tuesdays, association by arrangement, and visitors can drop in. Nearby, the Pinjarra club plays at the South Yunderup sports oval, and Drakesbrook plays on Fridays at the Waroona town oval.

What Mandurah's lawns and weather mean for your mallet

Peel shares Perth's pattern of hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters, with a sea breeze most summer afternoons. In the dry months the lawns turn firm and lively, suiting a delicate touch, and twilight play sidesteps the heat. Winter rain slows everything. Most of the year favours accuracy over weight.

Which Invictus mallet suits Mandurah players

RF Pro, A$1,980. Our flagship, developed together with World Champion Robert Fletcher. Its 3D printed aluminium head, weighted with brass and faced with composite, brings the mallet to roughly 2 lb 12 oz. Lighter and very precise, it partners golf croquet on a quick summer court.

Invictus Rise, A$990. The mallet more players choose than any other we make. Its aluminium head is about 3 lb, with a slightly larger sweet spot that makes it a little easier to control, and the extra weight earns its keep on soft winter lawns. The 11 inch head is the usual order.

Tell us your handle length and pick an 11 or 12 inch head, and we build the mallet around those numbers, in Graphite Black or, for A$130.90 more, Snow White, NRA Blue, Rose Gold or Deep Purple. Weight is fixed. The fitting guide and compare mallets help you decide.

Balls for Peel clubs

Our Invictus X balls weigh 450 g, come entirely from Australian production, hold World Croquet Federation championship approval and cost A$990 a set. Allow about one set of first colours and one of second per court; how many sets a club needs has the detail.

Delivery to Mandurah

Each mallet is built only after it is ordered, so allow usually 4 to 8 weeks for it to reach Peel, an estimate and never a guarantee. Ball sets travel by courier at a price agreed first.

Questions Mandurah players ask

Which suits golf croquet only? Either. The lighter RF Pro rewards a precise stroke; the Rise forgives more when the lawn is soft.

Can I use it at my club first? Add the optional 30-day satisfaction guarantee (A$99) and play club games with it before you decide.
