Croquet mallets and balls in Koroit
The short answer: Koroit players can order an Invictus mallet or Invictus X balls online and have them delivered in Moyne Shire. For Tuesday golf croquet on cool, often damp coastal-plain lawns, the Invictus Rise is the mallet we point to first.
Croquet in Koroit
Koroit Croquet Club plays in the Victoria Park complex on High Street, next to the caravan park, the bowls club and the botanic gardens, about 15 minutes from both Warrnambool and Port Fairy. It is a small club with two full-size courts. The regular game is golf croquet on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm, moving to 10am in January and February, and association croquet can be arranged. Visitors are invited to join a game followed by a cup of tea and nibbles, and spare equipment is kept for beginners. The club also runs a golf croquet doubles tournament for players on handicaps of 12 and above, in 2026 on Sunday 8 November. After a game, the main street, its 1850s hotel and the walking trails of Tower Hill, the volcanic crater just outside town, are close by.
What Koroit's lawns and weather mean for your mallet
Koroit sits on the volcanic plains a few kilometres from the Southern Ocean. Summers are mild and breezy, and winters are cool, wet and windy. The courts hold moisture through much of the year and play softly, so the ball needs an honest stroke to travel, and a breeze can drift a slow ball. A steady, weighted head is the practical choice.
Which Invictus mallet suits Koroit players
Invictus Rise, A$990. It is the most popular model we make. The aluminium head is around 3 lb and carries through soft grass, and its sweet spot is slightly larger, so it is a little easier to control. The 11 inch head is our standard advice.
RF Pro, A$1,980. This flagship came from development with World Champion Robert Fletcher. Its 3D printed aluminium head carries brass weights and composite faces, and it weighs about 2 lb 12 oz: lighter and very precise, aimed at players moving into association croquet or tournament doubles.
Your mallet is made once you order, with your handle length and a head of 11 or 12 inches. Graphite Black is included; NRA Blue, Deep Purple, Rose Gold or Snow White add A$130.90. Our fitting guide and comparison page help you choose.
Balls for Koroit clubs
Invictus X balls weigh 450 g, are made entirely in Australia and carry World Croquet Federation championship approval; a set is A$990. For two full-size courts the usual guide is two sets of first colours and two of second. See how many ball sets a club needs.

Can I have one before the November doubles? Not for 2026: it is under three weeks away, and delivery is usually 4 to 8 weeks.
What if it isn't right for me? The optional 30-day satisfaction guarantee costs A$99.
Will coastal wet weather damage it? No. Dry it after play and see product care.
