Croquet mallets and balls in Carrollton, Georgia
The short answer: Carrollton and Carroll County players can order an Invictus mallet or a set of Invictus X balls through our website, and we deliver to west Georgia. For a club that wins at golf croquet, the lighter RF Pro is worth a look, though most players should start with the Invictus Rise.
Croquet in Carrollton
Carroll County has an outsized record in Georgia croquet. When Peachtree Hills Place in Atlanta staged the first USCA-sanctioned Georgia Cup in April 2023, a golf croquet team event, the Carroll County Croquet Club beat Peachtree Hills Place, Lenbrook and runner-up Jekyll Island with a combined score of 33. The local paper later reported the club taking the Georgia Cup for a third straight year, the final clinched by a shot through the tenth hoop. Several members are seasoned tournament players who have entered multiple Golf Croquet National Championships, and in 2022 one of them held the Southeast Regional title. In October 2023 Carrollton played host to visitors from Alabama's Mountain Brook club and the reigning golf croquet world champion, with games on a member's home court beside Lake Carroll.
What west Georgia's lawns and weather mean for your mallet
West Georgia summers are hot, humid and stormy, and winters are short with only occasional hard frosts. That makes spring and fall the most comfortable times to play. Golf croquet asks for one clean stroke per turn, often a hard clearance or a delicate run, so how a mallet behaves on a slow, damp lawn after a storm matters as much as on a firm, dry one.
Which Invictus mallet suits Carrollton players
The two models at a glance:
- Invictus Rise, US$695: our most popular; aluminum head of about 3 lb; slightly larger sweet spot; a little easier to control; usually ordered with an 11 inch head.
- RF Pro, US$1,295: our flagship, developed with World Champion Robert Fletcher; 3D printed aluminum head with brass weights and composite faces; about 2 lb 12 oz; lighter and very precise.
- Both: made to order to your handle length; 11 or 12 inch head; Graphite Black standard, or Snow White, NRA Blue, Rose Gold or Deep Purple for US$119.

Balls for Carroll County clubs
A team event like the Georgia Cup runs on good balls. Invictus X, at 450 g each, is approved by the World Croquet Federation for championship play and made entirely in Australia, with a set priced at US$635. We suggest a club keeps two sets per lawn, first and second colors. Choosing balls for a club has more.
Delivery to Carrollton
Expect a made-to-order mallet in west Georgia usually 4 to 8 weeks after ordering; we give that as an estimate only. With a ball set, the delivered price is agreed with you first, then you pay.
Questions Carrollton players ask
I play golf croquet only. Rise or RF Pro? Start with the Rise unless you already have a settled stroke and want the lightest, most precise option.
Can I send it back if it is wrong for me? Add the optional 30-day satisfaction guarantee (US$99) and decide after a month.
Will Georgia heat hurt it? No; aluminum shrugs off heat. See product care.
