RF PRO | 3D Printed Croquet Mallet Aluminium Head Brass Endfaces
RF PRO | 3D Printed Croquet Mallet Aluminium Head Brass Endfaces
3D Printed Mallet Designed by World Champion Croquet Player Robert Fletcher.
The RF Pro Aluminium model, part of the Robert Fletcher Signature Range of Croquet Mallets, utilises the latest cutting edge 3D manufacturing technology and a design that maximises Peripheral Weighting (weight towards the end faces), Energy Transfer (power to the ball), and a lightweight Foam grip Carbon Fibre Handle. This combination increases accuracy by reducing twisting of the mallet face on impact, allowing for a smooth tempo swing, and reducing the power required to hit the ball.
The Striking face is made of Brass and measures 60mm x 60mm. Four countersunk screws bolt the end faces the body to ensure they don’t come off – no glue
The overall weight is approximately 2lb 12oz (Medium – Robert Fletcher uses this weight).
The mallet head length comes standard at 12inches long (Robert uses this length). 11in head lengths are also an option.
Handle lengths are offered from 31-42inch. If you require a custom lengths please let us know.
The handle is made of a rigid foam with a carbon fibre tube for lightweight strength and flexibility. The top section of the handle is a rectangular cross section 30mm x 25mm with a 10mm bevel that fits comfortably into your hands and the lower section is a round and 25mm in diameter.
The handle is secured to the head with a screw from the underside of the mallet head. You can remove the head from the shaft and swap with another shaft or offset the handle at 45 degrees or anywhere in between (marked by the grooves on the head).
The mallet head comes standard as the natural metal colour. We can paint them almost any colour at an additional cost.
Each mallet is custom built and build time is approximately 4 weeks from placing an order.
As with all of our products we guarantee the quality and will refund or replace.
